NewYorkScapes Community Meeting and Happy Hour

Please join NewYorkScapes for an informal community meeting followed by happy hour to hear updates on our various projects and future directions for the coming year. All are welcome, including newcomers curious about getting involved with the community. Feel free to bring along a project update to share, or pitch a new endeavor for which you are seeking collaborators.

We’ll meet at the NYU Alumni Lounge, Silver Center, at 6:30, refreshments to be served. Following the gathering, we’ll head over to the White Oak Tavern to continue discussions.

NewYorkScapes brings together researchers at NYU and beyond who share an interest in studying the cultural, historical, and literary features of the city using a combination of digital tools and creative nondigital methods. Founded in 2013, its participants come from a broad range of disciplines with the goal of sharing research insights and resources helpful to projects on contemporary and historical urban cultures and landscapes.
